Example 1

Form based GET method

This example requires a form capable browser and demonstrates the use of all the available form data entry methods including text fields, password fields, hidden fields (only visible by viewing the html source), checkboxes, radio buttons, listboxes, pull-down listboxes, multiple selection listboxes and text areas.

Clicking Reset will return the fields to their initial settings.
Clicking Submit Query will send a GET method request to the CGI program.

Example 2

Form based POST method

This example requires a form capable browser and demonstrates the use of all the available form data entry methods including text fields, password fields, hidden fields (only visible by viewing the html source), checkboxes, radio buttons, listboxes, pull-down listboxes, multiple selection listboxes and text areas.

Form based ISINDEX method

Hitting enter will send an ISINDEX method request to the CGI program.

Example 6

Setting extra PATH_INFO

Clicking on the archor will send a request to the CGI program which contains the extra path information, /extra/path/info. All of the above methods can have extra path information added if desired.
